The Barkley Biography

Barkley’s life began with a stroke of luck and a lot of love. After his mother faced health struggles, a wonderful vet and her staff stepped in to take Barkley and his siblings under their wing, raising them together and giving them the care and socialisation they needed — until Barkley made the call and picked us as his family.

Today he lives in a nice enough house and remains completely unaffected by his surroundings. He is a humble, grateful soul who is happy anywhere he is loved.

Raised by heroes and destined for the trail. Barkley didn’t just find a home; he made one. His sunshiny personality lights up everything within a hundred metres.

Barkley thrives on community. His favourite way to start the day is heading to Runyon Canyon, greeting every regular and playing with every dog he finds.

When he isn’t busy on the trail he is a connoisseur of comfort. He has mastered the art of the zoomie — a sudden burst of energy that occurs almost exactly three minutes after a bath.
